BAFFLE DIVIDERS CREATE TREATMENT CELLS
Creating multiple, smaller treatment cells by dividing lagoons using LET Baffle Systems is a cost-effective and simple solution that significantly improves hydraulic conditions. The baffle systems prevent short circuiting and problems caused by it including reduced detention time and partial treatment. This is achieved by better distributing and improving the uniformity of water flow throughout the LPMFTP.
MIXING & AERATION
In traditional facultative processes, the oxygen necessary to treat the wastewater is supplied by natural factors such as algae growth and windy weather. aren't able to design and control to that effluent limits would be much simpler to realistically meet consistently.
SOLIDS SETTLING & SLUDGE MINIMIZATION
After the wastewater in an LPMFTP has been treated as it travels through the preceding partial mix treatment cells, it arrives in the quiescent zone of our system's Settling Cell. The design and conditions of the Settling Cell maximize the settling of solids and minimize sludge removal frequency.
TERTIARY TREATMENT - FINAL POLISHING STEP
The Lemna Polishing Reactor (LPR) is the component of an LPMFTP System that is designed to promote consistent ammonia removal and BOD polishing. LET's LPR utilizes fixed media to promote an environment conducive to the growth of nitrifying bacteria. This easy to operate technology delivers tertiary treatment, improving the plant's effluent with this cost effective and easy to operate technology.
