The LemTec™ system design minimizes temperature fluctuations and prevents the adverse treatment effects of peak flow events. The system’s low horsepower is efficient in both aeration and mixing and requires a smaller footprint for typical detention times of 12 days or less.
The LemTec™ system removes BOD to levels below 30 mg/L in the complete mix and partial mix cells, with final polishing to below 10 mg/L in the tertiary treatment step of the Lemna Polishing Reactor (LPR). Effluent results are guaranteed to meet permit requirements.
