LemTec™ Odor Canopy
The LemTec™ odor contol cover provides a low cost and easy to install solution for variety of odor control/reduction applications. The cover creates an environment that stimulates the growth of bacteria that feed on odor-causing molecules. The cover is easy to install and simple to operate.
The cover is perfect for waste storage applications such as sludge digestion, manure storage pits, rendering waste, or other agricultural waste. It is ideal for storage applications where the waste will later be land applied or treated by other methods.
This patented cover uses UV resistant, multi-layered geotextile fabric and floating foam to create a low-cost, easy-to-install floating cover that can handle the most aggressive odor control applications.
Besides providing industry leading odor control capabilities, the cover also provides many other benefits.
Easy to install
Cover can be installed in full or empty basins with a variety of anchoring methods. No heavy machinery or complicated equipment needed. Lemna can provide full turnkey installation services.
Extends the life of earthen basins
The cover eliminates wave action on the pond surface, shore erosion and weed growth, so that traditional earthen basins have a longer useful life, even in harsh environments.
Custom designed and fabricated
Virtually any size and shape of basin can be covered effectively and efficiently. Cover access hatches, mixing ports, and sampling ports can be designed and installed easily.
Permeable means low maintenance
Since rainwater and snowmelt can drain through the cover, expensive water collection and sump systems are not needed.
